After almost 30 years in the bicycle industry, I’m not interested in the algorithmic popularity contest or profiting from culture-war issues. Instead of joining the hype cycle, I stick with the basics: Refined design. Artisan-level American craftsmanship. Making gear with my own hands, and being straightforward with my customers. I’ve been building bikepacking and bicycle gear since 2010.

Known as Bedrock Bags since 2012, I bought out my business partner in early 2025. Even though the bike industry was in the depths of the most serious bust in decades, I wasn’t ready to let the business go under. Instead, I’ve used the last year to reset, redesign the product line, and prepare for the next stage.
